Stephen Matthews, Convenor of Visual Communication Design, Queensland College of Art, Nov 2009 /
Stephanie has been in several of my classes during her time at QCA including Typographic Design, Visual Communication Design and Design in Advertising. In each case she has excelled in her outcomes and has demonstrated great skill at adapting and experimenting with both materials and ideas. She has a focussed work attitude and displays an open mind in the area of problem solving. In addition to her design skills, Stephanie is an artist in her own right and a passion for illustration and image making is evident in most of her work. I have no hesitation in recommending her for any position involving problem solving through advanced design skills.
Nick Christy, Partner of R&D Records, March 2010 /
I have known Stephanie for about a year, both from a personal and professional perspective, as a result of her relationship with R&D Records. Last year Stephanie provided us with album artwork and promotional material for a band called Adarose which R&D Records produced last year. She was extremely professional throughout, responding promptly to requests for amendments or additional versions of artwork. Stephanie is a good listener, conscientious and is very capable of working to tight deadlines. Her work has always been excellent, her suggestions valuable and she often provides more than is required. Since completing the Adarose EP we have asked Stephanie to design R&D Records’ business cards and company stationery and we hope to continue that relationship into the future.
